Today was a good day. I finished the first ten miles so fast that I was able to take a siesta and get out of the heat for awhile. I started my new book: Angels and Demons by Dan Brown.
I couldn't tell you exactly but I'd say about 90% of the time we are in the shade of the forest. Only in the sun directly when we get to a field that the trail cuts through or at road crossings.
Hey Jordan- Can you tell me which sections/waypoints you're not in the forest, & most exposed to the sun?
