Day 4: Quiet Day

11.5 miles: Neels gap to Low Gap Shelter

Whenever I have to take a break from the trail the first day back is always a quiet one. There are usually different people on the trail. It helps me think a lot. Camped on a hill at low gap shelter and woke up on top of the wall of my tent.

I made a couple changes to my pack. I switched my klymit static V pad with the Klymit luxe pad; which is longer, taller, and thicker. So I sleep better. You can find more information on both of those at go2outfitters.com. I also now have some Keen hiking sandals which I like a lot. They are very comfy and will make good rainy day and summer shoes.

Good night.
